Every October, the Pride Alliance hosts Coming Out for Equality as a celebration of National Coming Out Day. This event consists of faculty, staff, and student speakers who speak from personal experience about their involvement with the LGBTQ+ community, whether it’s as an ally or an LGBTQ+ person. As this is a celebration, there is a mini parade from Wick Chapel to the Panther Statue for photos. This event is video taped and posted to YouTube.
